It’s always a good thing to have a great Date Night In idea ready to go in case dinner plans fail. It happens. And with three kids (plus one on the way) getting a sitter and making plans to go out sometimes can seem like more effort than it’s worth. BUT date night is so very important. Time to connect together, to remind each other how important they are to you, time not distracted by running kids or laundry. 😉 And suffice it to say, it’s still one of my favorite ways to spend the 14th (or any night) with my love. When we first had Aliyah, we spent many a date night in front of the fireplace once she fell asleep, with stacks of pillows and blankets and our favorite series to binge-watch. To this day it is still one of my favorite kinds of date night, although now I like to plan it with a theme. Check out my few simple tips with SheSpeaksTV for creating a fun and memorable date night in, even with a crazy busy schedule! This time for us? It was an Italian picnic theme on our living room floor and it was perfection.
So while I’m not actually going to be home this Valentine’s Day, another Date Night In will definitely be on the schedule when I get back!
