It seems that fall brings out all kinds of warm and wholesome goodies. It calls out to the inner domestic goddess… and I think it’s still looking.
I have, though, dipped my foot into picking, mixing, baking, whipping, stirring, preserving, cooking and all that goes along with what a domestic goddess should be doing during this fall season. All that’s gotten wet so far are my toes, for I know there’s so much more to learn.
With people coming to our house, I decided to make something perfectly, domestically fall. Yummy Pumpkin Bread was the answer. And it was good.
Very good.
Our recipe:
1 1/2 C sugar (I use organic cane sugar)
1 2/3 C flour
1/2 C oil (vegetable or coconut oil)
1/2 C water
1 C pumpkin (fresh pureed pumpkin or about 1/2 can)
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
pinch of salt
Mix dry ingredients, then add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Enjoy.

So, no worries – but if you feel so inclined… thanks for your positive comments, you should win the nicest blogger award!
