It’s the first week of June, so it’s time for a weekly meal plan for you!weekly-meal-planning

This is the perfect time for me, personally, to get back in the swing of meal planning. After moving and getting a new fridge set up, I’m finally in a good place to plan some great meals! With most kids getting out of school in the last week or so, I would bet it’s a good time for many of you to start as well.

Summer meal planning is all about being flexible and having a few go-to grilling items on hand in the freezer in case of a last minute cookout. I usually keep a stash of chicken breasts, hamburger, and hot dogs or brats in there (which reminds me, I need to add those to my list for my empty freezer!). I also love having fresh fruit around for snacks and smoothies, plus a few easy snacks like graham crackers or Annie’s Cheddar bunnies.

Here is my plan for the week:

MondayReuben Stuffed Bell Peppers

Tuesday – Tacos, Salad, and a side of Queso Blanco

Wednesday – Grilled Wings (BBQ and Buffalo), Corn on the Cobb, and Potato Wedges

Thursday – Leftovers

FridayLasagna, Salad, and French Bread

SaturdayCreamy Potato Soup

Sunday – Dinner Out
