It’s December, which means life just got a whole lot busier! When we’re busy, it’s even more important to plan ahead. I hate to feel rushed and it’s very easy to have that happen. There’s also a brand new wrench in the schedule at our house- Finn really likes to be fed and in bed by 6:30pm. Yep, he’s chosen his bedtime and if we’re not working on the routine by 6:05, he starts melting down. So my scheduled dinner time has a new time constraint on it that doesn’t do well with change! Good news, he’s pretty cute, so I can’t complain. : )
I’ve taken to choosing meals that don’t have a ton of prep OR that I can prep earlier in the day to be sure we are eating dinner on time. It’s so much easier for me to be able to have most of the meal ready because I’m almost guaranteed that Finn will need to nurse as soon as I start cooking!
Monday – Louisiana Jambalaya
Tuesday – Chicken Pad Thai
Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – Crockpot Cashew Chicken
Saturday -Dinner Out
Sunday – Italian Hero Crescent Ring and Salad
