Having an impromptu date night is easier than you might think! Even when there isn’t time to get a sitter, you can get the kids in bed a little early and create a special date night in at home. It only takes a little bit of extra effort to make a date night in not seem like any other night at home.
Check out this fun video (and special drink recipe!) in collaboration with SheSpeaksTV with our tips that will transform dinner-as-usual into the romantic date night you’ve been dreaming about!

This is so perfect – just in time for Father’s Day. My hubby doesn’t want me to spend money on him, but if it were up to him, we’d skip the day altogether. So I’m putting together a little care package he can take to his new job (back-scratcher included) and this date night in will be the icing on the cake! Thanks!

Sometimes our guys are the hardest to shop for!! Haha. These are all dad-apporved though, so that’s a good thing! Sounds like your care package will be a surprise, but it sounds like the perfect gift 😉

We often do date night in, its usually after supper with some popcorn and a movie. Nothing super fancy, but its something. 🙂

I love this! My husband and I rarely get to go out alone anymore, so we have a date night at home every Sunday. We grill out, have wine, and then we watch a movie. It’s the best!

What a great video and such wonderful tips!
I like the idea of dressing up the table. I would totally make a MaiTai (we drank those non-stop on our honeymoon).
I love appetizers! Finger food always feels like a “date” food.
Thanks for sharing.
