We recently were able to spend a day with the family, enjoying Sea World Orlando behind the scenes in a shoot with Visit Florida (more to come on that soon!). It was such a fun time exploring together, seeing the world through the excitement of my kids and learning something new. So along with just a great time with some sweet treats, a few rides and big smiles, it was just a really great experience petting the penguins and sharks, learning about Sea World’s Rescue Center and ending the day knowing a bit more about those marine animals than we used to.
Like, did you know that when penguins molt (for most of them it’s once a year) the new feather grow in underneath the old and push them out… creating a hot mess of a penguin. They can sometimes look like little furry things! Kind of cute, kind of crazy, and kind of made me feel better about a bad hair day 😉 During this time though, the feathers aren’t waterproof (there isn’t really a seal) and the penguins stay out of the water until they’re finished shedding the old feathers. While we were at Sea World, there were a few penguins going through this process, it’s that time of year I guess… and it was just cool to see.
Enough of my blabbing, check out our most recent vlog to get a peek at our day!
This day trip out with the family was also a perfect time to put to use our new stroller from Evenflo. The Pivot Travel System made it really easy for us to get around the park, and though for quick trips I usually keep Aria in her car seat and snap it into the stroller, this time we used the stroller system throughout the day without the car seat. I wanted to be able to use all of the adjustment settings… and let me tell you, it came in SO handy!!!! Because I was able to easily meet my babe’s needs, she was an angel. We started the day with our little one forward facing and she was just excited and enthralled with all that was happening around her! When she got a little sleepy (you know those first signs of fussing), I picked her up and held her for a few minutes until she fell asleep, and this is the part I loved… with one hand I adjusted the seat to lay down into a carriage position to lay Aria down. With the smooth ride, she stayed asleep for a nice, long nap time while we enjoyed our behind the scenes tour. It’s great having a stroller with a seat that is so easy to adjust as needed, and that sit’s up high allowing for plenty of space for storage below as well. In fact, I’ve been stopped a few times with this stroller by other mamas who love the look of it and the height of the baby carriage/seat!
Thank you to Evenflo for kindly sponsoring this post with product. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.

I love how that stroller has a seat AND a bassinet without needing multiple pieces!
