If you’ve been reading Fresh Mommy for a while, you probably already know how I feel about bridges through this harrowing tale. While my friend Briony was in New York with me, we decided to venture to Brooklyn to take photos of the Brooklyn Bridge with a setting of Manhattan behind. Since walking the bridge would have been quite a task, especially with the need to have my eyes closed the majority of the time, we decided to take the subway so we could get there quickly. Being a holiday weekend, it probably would’ve been faster to walk the bridge, and a much better view as well… at least for the time my eyes would have been open. We spent more time underground than we did above. But we made it, and were able to spend a little time on the Brooklyn boardwalk. It was beautiful. The weather, the sights, the people… beautiful.
