We’re running out the door, with a plate full of to much to do balancing on our laps and an emotional evening ahead of us. (Please keep our family in your prayers, our niece’s funeral is tonight.)
But balance it we will, with a bit of enjoying the in-between as well. Like we always do. And this morning I’m remembering a couple of in-between moments, on our way to somewhere special I’m sure.
Just last week, I was in a Manhattan taxi, holding my littlest while my big girl chose her favorite in-the-middle spot.
I couldn’t believe it had been a year from the time I was slinging a six week old across my chest and navigating the same grid of city streets.
Just a little flashback this Friday.
Happy weekending, friends!

Ahh! Look how much he’s grown! I hope the weekend funeral goes well – as well as funerals can go. Hugs!
