An adventure unfolded as we enjoyed a favorite pastime. The three of us enjoying the sounds of each others voice as a story unveils a blissfull ending, sipping chocolate drinks and smiling the time away.
Thrown in the mix was a bit of train playthings and puzzles… of which take great concentration.
A few more covers to touch and browse before we emerge victorious with a special new Christmas book to share with each other throughout the season.

A brightly illuminated tree in the square beckons as we pass. We answer that call with laughter and chases around it, pausing to gaze up at its enormity. As snow begins to fall, our evening only grows more adventurous as we try and catch it with open mouths.

One lone, straggling ornament becomes a favorite toy for the time being and wasn’t quickly returned to it’s proper place, lying next to the tree, as we left.

The season of fall is nearing it’s end… as well as this progression shows. Only one day left of my ‘days of fall’ series. Only a few days left of the season as we enter into the joyful holidays. I’m determined to enjoy every last moment of it!

Oh, I am so glad you let her play with the ornaments! I remember when my LittleMan was that age, and I would NOT let him touch the ornaments. I pictured the beautiful tree toppling onto my child. Nice visual, huh? Anyway, I wish someone had told me to “ease up and relax already!” Hopefully another child was able to see the beautiful, shiny ornament lying on the ground and had a blast with it before leaving for the next child. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!
