With the recent days feeling much more like fall than summer, I knew I needed to soak up these last bits of summer that I could find. I’m not sure how long it will last, some days the rays of sunshine warm the blades of green grassy cover, and other days a gray sky covers each blade with thick drops of water. Each morning bring a new discovery of either warmth on our skin or a chill in the air. It’s definitely not been our typical summer.

So true Tab. I was just feeling a bit sad yesterday because I realized that Summer was coming to an end. This has been a really good one for me. Maybe because a new sense of ME was birthed this Summer…Well, no time for being sad, here’s to the delicious Fall days ahead. Hayrides, apple picking, yummy cider, and pumpkin butter! Cheers! Love ya Honey!

so pretty! And I agree, this summer weather has been really different but I like it because it’s not been as hot as usual.

perty pic! normally by now i’m sooo glad to see summer go cause i’m not a super fan of immense heat, unless of course we’re near or in the water….but with the cold temps this year and diminished amount of swimming we’ve had, i’m actually mourning it a bit too today??? blessings…

I’ve been really missing visiting your blog!! Summer really took over and I didn’t get a chance to blog much. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things and make my rounds.
Hope you’ve had a great summer!!♥

Unlike you, I am SO glad to see summer go! I just hate the hot, humid summers here in the south. I have all my life but now it is truly not good for me and my illness. It makes my battle even tougher all summer long.
Besides, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fall. The crisp cool air, the beautiful colors of the leaves as they change and gently fall to the ground, that first fire in the fireplace and, of course, football season begins! WOOT! I am a huge lover of all kinds of football, but especially high school because our 2 youngest daughters are in their high school’s marching band. Until I became sick, I LIVED for Friday nights at the football stadium! ;0)
And, of course, fall ushers in my absolute favorite time of the year, Christmastime! So, yes, I bid summer farewell and say a great big hello to fall!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend. I hope to see you again sometime soon!
Many blessings,
