It’s December friends, and the very merry countdown continues. Time to jolly up and make sure those little girls in your life are taken care of with pretty little presents under the tree. This year we’re keeping the gifts a bit simpler with the theme of something to Wear, something to Read, something you Want and something you Need. The gifts below are rounded up from items hand picked by my girl, things we’ve picked for her and a couple other things I’ve had my eyes on, so we’ll be plucking a few things from it for her.
// No Place Like Home Play Cottage $189 – Because everyone needs their own little play space, and Land of Nod totally knocks these out of the park… along with adorable teepees, which I’ve actually wanted to get for some time now.
// The Knit Crowd Dolls $29 – How adorable are these sweet knit dolls!
// Ride On Unicorn Head $26 – Remember those ride on horse heads when we were little? Take it up a notch with a unicorn made from recycled cardboard from Flatout Frankie, then let your girl decorate it or leave it be! Use code FRESH15 for 15% all Flatout Frankie products from Little Modern through December 31, 2013!
// Melissa and Doug Magic Set $33.95 – I think this one falls into the “something you want” category as Aliyah’s been asking for a magic set and hasn’t forgotten about this one since finding it on Amazon.
// Hair Tie Lolli $8 – While browsing Nordys for a few gifts we came across these super cute hear tie lolli pops and picked up a couple for some sweet little girls in our life.
// Je T’aime T-shirt $28, Organic Cotton Infinity Scarf $24, Cap-toe Ballet Flats $29 – I love getting my kids clothes that are comfortable AND that are stylish and trendy. The comfort factor helps assure me that they’ll actually wear the clothes since that’s item number one on their list. On top of all that, some of my favorite places to shop are small, personally owned businesses and even though they can sometimes seem a little more expensive, supporting small businesses and someone’s dream is a big thing to me. I’ll be placing these tees under the tree for my little ones and I think that infinity scarf on top would be the icing for my little girl.
// Little Classic Books $10 – Giving them something to read with the help of these beautifully illustrated classics is a win, win.
// Charm It Bracelet $5, Piano Charm $5, Ballet Slipper Charm $5 – So, Aliyah won’t be getting the bracelet for Christmas, since she ended up buying it for herself with some of her leftover birthday money when we were in Nordstroms… we actually went back for her to get it because she wanted it that much. But maybe a charm or two will end up in her stocking.
// Peppermint Swir Bike $96.98 – Since Aliyah is starting to outgrow her little bicycle she’s been actively looking at larger ones. Being the smart little cookie she is, she said, “Since mine is too small, a new bike is something I need, right?” Good one, little girl.
What are some things you’re getting for the little girl in your life?
