If you’re here in the United States and have a day off for this holiday, whether it’s spent at a beach filled with other holiday seekers or in the backyard for a BBQ, I hope it’s full of relaxation and lots of family love.
Though living in Florida seems to stretch our beach days and heat waves into the fall season, I can still feel the finale of summer with this pinnacle holiday. So, goodbye long summer nights and splashing adventures and cheers to schedules and structure, to pumpkins and cable knit (eventually) and the return of routine.
