We’ve been pleasantly surprised and very blessed with how well Aliyah has adjusted to having a new baby in the house. Although, I’m starting to feel like this has nothing to do with us as parents, and it’s all to do with how much she just REALLY loves having a baby in the house. Her baby.
As soon as she wakes up she’s asking, IS BRAYDEN AWAKE? ARE HIS EYES OPEN YET? AWWW, HE’S SO CUTE, BRAYDEN IS SO CUTE. BRAYDEN. BRAYDEN. BRAYDEN.
She can’t get enough of him, and she’s beginning to be rewarded for the fruits of her hard labor. Except that it really was MY hard labor, but you can’t tell her that. She is all about him, and he’s beginning to respond to her, smile at her and talk back to her.
Enjoy it now child, someday you may not like all the talking back he does.
Really though, there’s nothing like peeking in the rear view mirror, while on an errand for more eggs, upon hearing a sweet song being sung to your baby by your slightly older baby. Nothing like it. Eggs never were so delightful.

How beautiful. Actually, I think her reaction to your baby is a representation of your happy home. She’s feeling the vibes and giving them back in return. That’s joy 🙂

Great shot with him looking up and over at her. There are 8 yrs. difference between my grandsons and the little one loves his big brother. Like you, I was not sure how the oldest would except but he did a great job. Thanks for sharing.
