With the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act coming into light, even with so many working together to change it, we’ve been snatching up some of the best handmade goods while we can. A local wood smith at our Farmer’s Market makes these great name puzzles to order, and we couldn’t hold off any longer, buying one for my girl another as a gift. I couldn’t think of a cuter way for Baby Blue to learn to spell her name… and her playroom didn’t mind the extra cuteness.

as a less informed/non-reader mommie, dunno what you’re talkin’ about dude….but the puzzle is adorable! to all parents…my five year old may be autistic but he can also read/write/spell at about second/third grade level and i credit it all to v-smile and the learning games he’s played for years now! it’s like a tutor deguised by dora the explorer! blessings…

that’s a great learning tool… and it’s precious! 🙂

I truly wonder if the CPSIA wasn’t a tactic to get people to buy more things, a scare tactic, if you will. Ahh, maybe I’m just being paranoid because I can’t imagine the government being that stupid. Then again, it’s the government, right?
Anyway, the puzzle is precious and I’m glad you bought it as a learning tool – too cute!

I guess putting child safety first~and making it law is a good thing.
My daughter said the other night, “mom, what are all the children’s consignment stores and Goodwill (VA etc..) going to do?”
It’s a good question.

I love those puzzles! My 6 1/2 year old has one but I need one for my other two younger kiddos! Thanks for the reminder!
Hey your blog is not updating itself in my Google Reader – not sure why but it has not shown a new post in DAYS. So I was like I must just click over there and see for myself and there are all of these new goodies over here! Not like you can do anything about the Reader thing – it seems so temperamental!!
