Happy Memorial Day lovies! Today while we celebrate with barbecues and beach trips we remember and honor those who gave the greatest sacrifice so that we could enjoy this freedom… they gave all of themselves. I’m taking a little time today to love my littles ones, enjoy this day and the special freedom we have here and remind them to be thankful for the so many reasons we’re blessed, and for the so many who made it possible.
I’ve not been a big fan of animal prints. It was always one of those trends that I could only take in small (very small) doses, if at all. I thought it looks great on others, but just felt like a little girl playing dress up in her mama’s clothes whenever I’d try. Maybe it was all of those years growing up with my mom wearing animal prints? Either way, it’s been growing on me lately… but again, in small doses. While I’m not ready to wear a full on shirt in leopard, I’ve found some accessories that I can’t get out of my head. I would love to add a few of these to my wardrobe. So if you’re looking for a way to infuse the animal print trend into your wardrobe, a sweet tee and jeans, with a pop of red lips and ONE animal print accessory will do the trick! Same goes for some sleek black skinnies and a black tank.

definitely digging the shades and the flats.
I think I could handle those 2 small doses. Animal prints is one of those things I love when I see it on someone else – but never think I could pull it off.
