You don’t take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.

So I walked in, again, to the sound of water running in the kid’s bathroom. My littlest little seems to be infatuated with the toothbrush. And running water. And climbing.
I don’t know which one actually peaks his interest the most. But suffice it to say that taking him off of the counter and out of the bathroom is definitely not something he likes.
So before I went through the ritual of keeping him safe by removing him from his hovering position three and a half feet above a tile floor and correcting the attitude his little 16 month body throws my way, I quietly captured this moment. Borrowed it for the memory banks.
I’d love to know what is it about photography that you love!! Please share.

These moments… captured forever. Longer than out minds would allow and in full color are why I try to take photos everyday. When you review the moments they make up, you take the time to enjoy them on more time.
Love him sitting up there… just playing away.

I love that photography captures, not only the moment on film, but the perspective of the person behind the camera.
I had a climber…keeps you on your toes!

Your pictures always tell a story, that’s what I love about your photography. My camera tends to stay in storage unless we’re on vacation. I just created a blog for picture taking only in the hopes that it will keep me inspired to take pictures on a daily basis 🙂
