We couldn’t go to this part of the country and not visit the big, famous mouse… and the whole park that was spawned from his existence. Not with a toddler in tow, anyway.
The good thing about taking a toddler though, is the fact that she doesn’t know what she’s missing if we don’t tell her. We had a blast, and hit the main attractions in just a couple of hours.
As long as she had this balloon, she was set. After first spotting this much needed accessory being carried by the kids in the parking lot, she began asking for one, or four, the rest of the way into the park (which by the way, takes about an hour, although she just thought it was all a big ride).
Who would’ve thought that being flung around mercilessly in oversized teacups would have the family laughin’ till it hurt? We had to ride a second time.
I’m just now walking in a straight line.
Bonding over balloons,

Hi there, I ran across your blog and enjoyed your Disney pictures. We were just there April 26,27 and 28th. Did you catch the fireworks? If you did, weren’t they amazing???
We enjoyed our trip and since our daughter is just under 2 and a half we look forward to going in another 4 years.
Hope you don’t mind I stopped by and commented. 🙂

Yes, we recently visited and you are so right – if they don’t know what they are missing, you can just hit the high notes! And of course you have to buy the obligatory $10 mouse head balloon! They are just too cute! Love the pics!

You should send the first picture and the one where she’s looking at the mickey mouse balloon to Disney. They’d want it for brochures. It’s just TOO perfect! The way she’s looking at the magic kingdom, you don’t need to see her face to know she’s thinking “W O W CASTLE, Princess” and all the magic of the place. Priceless.
