Okay guys, today I’m sharing this super simple and easy holiday glam makeup look that I was able to throw together in just a few minutes… especially when finished off with a top knot. 🙂 Perfect for any holiday parties, whether dressed up or down! These shimmering bronzed smokey eyes and statement lips come from a really unexpected place though, the new COVERGIRL StarWars Collection at Walmart. I have to admit, I’m not the die hard fan of StarWars like what seems to be every other guy out there, but when I saw the color combinations in the new collection, I was totally sold on trying it. I have to say, I’m glad I did! For this look, I took inspiration from the Dark Apprentice, one of the six looks that makeup artist Pat McGrath put together for the collection, however I took it from full tilt drama to something completely wearable for day to night and the perfect holiday glam makeup look.
To get the look in minutes (for real!), just apply number 2 (the bronze color) of the 715 Stunning Smokeys eyeshadow quad to your eye lid. In the crease, apply number 3 and then use number 4 to line the lower lashes and at the outer corner and crease of your eyelid. I also used 800 Brow + Liner Powder (which is a brow powder and eye liner in one!) to define my brows and line my eye lid. It’s super simple to use and creates less steps having a 2-in-1 product. Now, I will say, it’s a powder and not as precise as a liquid liner or a brow gel, but with a smokey look, I wasn’t going for precise anyway and like the ease of use and the look it gave. Next, for the lashes apply StarWars Super Sizer by LashBlast Mascara for a full lash effect. For my favorite part, the statement lip, I first lined my lips using a red lip liner and then filled in using StarWars Lipcolor in number 30, and I have to say, I’m a really big fan of this lip color! With just the right amount of shine, it went on smooth and creamy, stayed on for a long portion of the day and never made my lips feel dry or cakey.
