Happy Valentine’s Day lovelies. Whether you celebrate big or stay settled in, whether you dote on your gal pals or have a significant other, whether you hide from the world or make a splash on this day, my hope is that no matter what unfolds in your life with the hours of the clock, you feel loved. Because no matter what, no person, no card, no flower, no holiday… nothing, can change the fact that you’re beautiful, created and purposeful JUST in being YOU. So hold on to this, you are loved.
I also thought it would be fun to share with you what my date night style will be while out with my hubby. Hopefully it will give you some outfit inspiration for whatever your plans may be.
Because I’m a mom of four I am constantly looking for pieces in my wardrobe that can transition throughout my day and take me from one event in life to the next. Through it all, I’m learning to scale back on the shopping and I have really enjoyed the challenge of mixing and matching items from my closet creating new looks with pieces that I might not have put together otherwise. Just because there is a special event or date night on the horizon, doesn’t mean we have to break the bank, or blow a month’s budget to make it feel special. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity and not being afraid to mix it up!
Currently one of my favorite items in my wardrobe is this month’s #FreshMommyShop Limited Edition Tee. I’ve seriously been wearing it on the regular and because it’s so comfy and it’s basically my mantra, I was inspired to find a way to rock it on my night out with my love.
I didn’t want to go too heavy on the makeup, instead of doing a full face I just built on my everyday makeup by adding an extra coat of mascara, a lip stain to last all day and night and a bit of parfume. To dress up my statement tee, I paired it with my embellished skirt, a sleek black jacket (with embellishments on the back as well), comfortable bootie heels, and while I stayed minimal on the jewelry, my new bangles made the cut.
I haven’t decided on which hairstyle I’m going to go with… either a casual messy bun or down with some loose messy curls. Let me know in the comments which one you think I should go with and tell me, what are you planning on wearing for your Valentine’s Day or your own date night style?!

I’m right there with you. I’m trying to not break the bank while going for a date night before the date even happens. Love the skirt, and that’s tees message is my mantra lately. So cute!!
