I still have quite a few different Southern Louisiana recipes to tackle, but I can now take Chargrilled Oysters off of the list! These two versions are quick, delicious, and the perfect appetizer for your Superbowl Party! Or just a random Tuesday. : )
- 1 Quart Oysters
- Bleu Cheese
- Bacon Bits
- 1/2 cup Parmesan
- 2 T Butter
- 1 Clove Minced Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dry and separate Oysters into shells or Oyster Tins (I usually put in 2 per tin). In half the tins, generously sprinkle Bleu Cheese and Bacon bits.
- In a small bowl, combine parmesan, butter, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spoon mixture on the other half of the oysters.
- Grill or broil oysters for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve with sliced french bread!
