In my search for Christmas gifts for all the young ones in our family; nephews, nieces, “brothers” (the boys of one of my closest friends) and my own daughter, I came across a toy website dedicated to help in selecting good, safe baby, toddler and kid’s toys. I decided to check them out, and they sent me this Egg and Spoon Race Game, one of their many toys for a 3 year old.
So if you’re looking for something to get for a young one in your life – and for something very much under $20 – this toy is a winner!
This game is going to bring lots of laughs during this Holiday season. My husband and I spent quite a bit of time playing, and laughing with our sweet little 3 year old, while running through the house trying to hold these re-breakable eggs on the spoons. It definitely teaches coordination and balance, and we had to help her move slow enough to hold the egg in place… although every time the egg would fall off and “crack” open on the floor, with the little bean bag “egg yolk” popping out, she would crack up.
Eventually she just wanted to drop the eggs and put them back together, mixing up the colors, and then matching them up again. Really though, any toy that can hold a 3 year olds attention for longer than 45 minutes is a hero.
Want more great gift ideas?
Note: I’ll be posting weekly Christmas gift ideas from now until December 25. I promise to highlight gifts from all price ranges (emphasis on reasonable), all categories…and for all ages.

It looks fun : ) I don’t think Kaish would be too crazy about it though since he is 9! I am so glad your daughter loved it and you had fun family times. That is awesome!

If something can hold anybody’s attention for 45 straight minutes, that’s a good thing in my book. Looks like y’all will have many more hours of fun with that toy!

That is such a cute game! I guess I could get it and then replace the flowers with cars for the boys!
Wait- I just realized those aren’t flowers, those are egg yolks. I thought the yellow and white part was a flower. LOL
