“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around every once in a while, you might miss it.”
~Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
It was just last week that I decided to use my “real” camera… the one I’ve lately been saving for jobs, projects and styled shoots, to again capture the simple, fleeting moments of my family. With this pregnancy, my last, I’m realizing even more so just how quickly our littles grow and change before our eyes, and though we can try to grasp on and hold them as they are in the palm of our hand, their growing slips right through the cracks. I’m choosing to live life with eyes wide open, and let my camera do a little clicking as well. Maybe I can’t keep these wee ones forever this small in the palm of my hands… but these snapshots, these snippets of life cemented into a moment? Those I can hold in the palm of my hand… and not let go.

What do you like to do to remember the small things in life?
Oh and if you’re also a lover of Instagram to capture even more moments, you can find me there as TabithaBlue, I’d love to “meet” you!

Oh my – between the golden locks, the wide eyes and the resting babes with their pup…I, for one, am glad you’ve got that camera out and working some magic!

That is a beautiful picture. That quote has resonated with me for these past few months. I remember back when it was 2013, man time flies by so fast I can’t fathom how fast time went by. Pretty soon I’m graduating high school and making my own decisions in two years.
