Coffee. Cocoa. Sugar. Coconut. Cinnamon.
The sweet and delicious spices of life. And the fact that it does so much good for your skin? Just another reason why I love life.
To make your day start off just as sweet and delicious, besides ordering a coconut mocha, mix up a batch of this and let your glowing skin sing it’s praises.
Because it will.
Welcome to this week’s webisode of KitchenWise!
Make it. Make it now… I promise, you’ll be glad you did. Aliyah made this last year as Christmas gifts, and they were such a hit with people asking for the recipe, we decided to share it again with you here.
The ingredients, with my standout coconut oil to fuse it all together… and sometimes I add in extra coconut oil to make it even richer (you can use as much as you’d like).
- 2 cups ground coffee
- 1 cup raw sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6-8 tbls coconut oil
- 2 tbls cocoa
- 1tbls vanilla extract
- dash of cinnamon if desired
Please let me know what you think of this week’s episode, and if you have any ideas, questions or suggestions for future episodes (something you’d like to try, but want someone else to be the “guinea pig”) please tell!

You just gave me a great gift idea for Christmas! This is something I would love to smell every time I shower! Loved the webisode, my favorite part was hearing your kids in the background 🙂

This is amazing ~ the scrub, and your new series. This weekend I have promised myself a pajama weekend (which, in retrospect, I should have scheduled in the weekend after the wedding!)…I’m going to get what I need for the hot chocolate AND the body scrub. Cannot even tell you how happy my husband’s going to be!

Thanks for the great recipe! I actually made these for friends and family this year for Christmas! It is amazing! My husband loves it and uses it in the shower frequently! He used it after he kept asking me why my hands were so soft? lol Thanks again! It’s definitely a keeper!
