New Year’s Eve Style Guide + a Giveaway

When it comes to New Years Eve, I definitely know who I’m going to kiss at the stroke of midnight, but getting dressed for the occasion is a different story. I have to say that our New Year’s Eve parties look quite a bit different now with three kids (and to be completely honest, the option of watching the ball drop from bed is never off the table). We usually host a party at our home and ring in the new year surrounded with friends and family… keeping what’s important close to us! This year, whether you’re headed out on the town or you’re couch bound with good food and good friends, make the night festive with sparkle in all the right places! I think it’s pretty safe to say that I’ll be toasting in sequins. Thankfully, they’re in style and totally trending right now.

Let’s start with a glam night out. While purchasing a dress made of sequins isn’t out of the question, there’s a completely legit alternative… rent it! For a more casual affair, you can still rock the sequin trend and sparkle as the ball drops, but keeping it comfy is key. Opt for a great pair of sequin leggings, still comfortable and yet totally glam. A cute tee and flats finish off the look and keeps the outfit a little more on the casual side.
