How is it possible? The sands of time are rapidly slipping through my fingers, despite my fiercest efforts to hold on tight. Each day is a constant reminder to relish every little morsel before it makes The Great Escape from my ever tightening grasp.
And this little one, with his bright blue eyes, has threaded himself into every fiber of my heart and soul. I stoop to take a photo and for him? It’s just another moment to love. To cuddle. He moves in, head tilted into mine, ready to be lathered in butterfly kisses. I sing songs about kisses and love and diapers that I make up. He smiles. Reinforcing the importance of life’s little grain that just slipped out the side of my hand. And my love just grows fiercer.
And his sister? Her own color of thread had been weaving it’s way through every part of me for so long, there are times I can’t tell the difference between her shade and mine. And talk about fierce love for the little guy in our lives. This girl’s got it.
During our shoot, she grabbed up the camera and took these gems:
The girl’s a natural.

He truly is such a sweet boy. He commands attention in every room and we are all happy to indulge in a hug from his chubby arms and a smile from his sweet face.
You’re a wonderful Mom, and have amazing kids. I am blessed just to know you guys!

Beautiful boy!! I love the last two that Aliyah took. She’s definitely got her mommy and daddy’s flare for the camera! I can’t believe he’s 9 months already. Time flies by too quickly.

Great pictures — your girl has some natural talent behind the lens. Of course, look how cute the subject is, too! And I have to say, I adore that giraffe pillow.
