It’s hard to believe it’s been 13 years since that day that changed us all, 9/11. Every year as this date rolls around, we remember those who lost so much that day, we honor the city and this country that came together, arm in arm in support and help and strength.
I remember this day, eight years ago, while sitting in a hospital, holding my new bundle of joy… the moment I became a mama, and I feeling so grateful to live in a country that so many are willing to fight for. To live in a country that come unite and stand strong. Today, that is what I remember.
While this day will always be heavy on our hearts as we remember so many lives lost, we will honor them, and celebrate this country and the strength of many that fight for it.
What do you do to remember this day?
Join us as we take a moment to recognize those families that were so affected by that day and honor the ones that sacrificed their all for the sake of others. Join us as we take a moment to tell someone in our lives how special they are to us, to call someone out on their amazingness. Because if there’s one thing I can take away, it’s that life and love is precious. Cherish each moment we are blessed to have.
Share with us your stories of that day in the comments below, we would love to hear them… and would love to see how you share encouragement and love with someone you care about today!
