Welcome to Sunday Citar!! Here’s where we all share a quote or two… a favorite, a new find, a laugh inducing or tear inducing quote you love this week. (Citar = to quote in Spanish)
The linky will be open all week for you to link up your special Christmas post!
“Christmas… that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance — a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved.”
~Augusta E. Rundel
We have indeed been wrapped… by Christmas’ beautiful song, whose melody has not only warmed our homes, but has played our heartstrings.
When Chris and I married, we reserved Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning for us. For our family to be. For these littles whose pitter-patter literally fills our halls with warmth at their melody.
And to this day? It’s remained.
So as we burrow further into our family cave, reflecting and enjoying, prioritizing and relaxing, memory-making and laughing… we also wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
If you didn’t get a copy yet, here’s a peek at this year’s Christmas card:

Have a wonderfully blessed and merry weekend with your families and loved ones.

Beautiful photos! And bravo for guarding these precious Christmas days just for the four of you. If you ever have seconds of wondering if you’re doing the ‘right’ thing…let me just tell you – you’ll never, ever regret the choice! We were always home at Christmas…and have wonderful memories of years and years of great family time. All is quiet here – just me…some music…in post stocking stuffing nostalgia. Big Christmas hug!
