Our evening is wrapping up with just as much Christmas spirit as it began. I woke, full and content on turkey and thankfulness, and to tunes of A White Christmas on repeat in my head. Our rifling through boxes that Chris brought in from the attic full of Christmas decor was only on pause for a bit while we ventured out for a tree… on the craziest shopping day of the year. So, by pause for a bit, I mean we didn’t actually start until this evening. Still, the day was full of laughter and cheer, and kids enthusiastically setting out each red pillow, or blanket, or Christmas book, or candle they’d pull from the magical boxes.
Grateful and happy.
A little peak at our Thanksgiving…
Loving on cousins and watching the parade, well, sort of.
Final prep for the big meal, an amazing time with family… and a nap inducing tradition.
Kids are being tucked in, Christmas movies are playing and cookies are in the oven. Holiday duty calls.

I’m loving the picture of the turkey and the little pumpkin!
