You guys, in case there’s some odd reason that you hadn’t noticed, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow!! So, if you’re still not sure what to wear for a hot date night out, a casual dinner or a relaxing night in, we’ve got a few last minutes ideas rounded up for you to help spark your own imagination. Maybe you can shop the look from your own closet and find something similar, or maybe you’ll have a chance to run out and grab an item or two to throw the look together. Whatever your plans for the big V day tomorrow, I hope you feel beautiful and special, no matter what you’re wearing and no matter where your plans (or lack of plans) may take you. We’re bundling up here in Philly and weathering the Nor’easter storm rolling through… so our plans are to find something open, even if that ends up being a pint of ice cream while we watch a movie from our hotel room bed.
For a red hot date night out a flouncy skirt or a drop waist dress is a pretty option that is still great for allowing you room to actually eat all that special chocolate you’ll be getting. Paired with some crimson nails and lips and a sparkly pair of heels, you’ll be ready to paint the town red. Side note, I’m hearing straight from the shoe shows of NY that sparkly shoes are the next thing. For a more casual affair, whether it be in or out, grab your red skinnies and a comfy tee, preferably one that let’s him know you’re happily and proudly his, and spice up the look with some animal print and a chunky necklace. Of course, now that kiddos are in the mix, it’s not always an option to have a night out, so a night in needs to be just as special. If you’re like us and buried under snow, a night in might be your best bet… and maybe you’ll need to warm up with a nice hot bath together. Get ready with some fluffy towels and a robe for afterwards, light a candle and grab some massage oil, you’ll forget about the snow, and your kids sleeping in the other room, in no time!
