Last weekend I had the privilege of hosting a fun and crafty event at The Container Store, and more specifically in their swoon-worthy Gift Wrap Wonderland (which made for such a fun and festive backdrop, I just wanted to browse and pick and shop)!! Speaking of swoon-worthy, well let’s just say these DIY gifts I shared there and am sharing with you today are spoon-worthy presents in a jar. From body scrubs to cookie recipe gifts, they’re all made with items from your kitchen, smell amazing and are the perfect way to finish off the last-minute gifts on your list in a personal way. Everyone loves that extra special personal touch right? And I’m sure you won’t mind the savings involved when you create something yourself, plus, you can make some extra to keep! 🙂 It was such a fabulous event with an amazing group of people… I had a great time and so did my little helper Aliyah. Keep reading for the recipes along a printable version you can download and use.
So, if you’re ready to whip up some fabulous gifts for your neighbors, teachers, parents, friends or anyone else on your list, grab a few jars and head to your kitchen. You can download the printable recipe page to create our Mocha Sugar Body Polish, Pumpkin Pie Body Scrub, Winter Cranberry Cookie Mix in a Jar (SO good I’ve been actually baking them in batches for myself!) and Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar.
I also picked up some really great items from The Container Store and their Gift Wrap Wonderland to make these gifts really pop. It’s easy to make a jar look festive with a tag and some ribbon, but you can also gift it in a box, or add a few extra finishing touches. I’ve linked all the really fab products I used below 😉
