I’m sharing a simple Valentine’s Day lovely chocolate dipped pretzels treat, that you can make with and for your kids (they look like they took more effort than they really do!) in this post sponsored by Carter’s new line of organic kids clothes, Little Planet, however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own… but spoiler alert, I’m obsessed with the soft organic options!
Can you believe we’re almost to Valentine’s Day… and Valentine’s Month really?! The season of love and all things pink and sparkly seems to sneak up (and make an appearance in every store) as soon the noise makers and fireworks of the new year blow.
It’s something that I celebrate SO much more now, after having kids, than I ever did before. And it’s not easy for us to miss. My oldest son was born just two days after Valentine’s Day, and he’s got a daily countdown happening on the big chalkboard in our kitchen… so we’ve got a daily reminder going for us. 🙂
Celebrating love though, I feel like that’s just something that’s built into motherhood for me. Since I can remember, I’d dreamt of the day I could hold my own. Thoughts of pushing them in their stroller played out childhood imagination and notebooks carried names I liked. It’s crazy though, how those dreams turned to reality, and then in becoming a mom, you realize this gig isn’t easy!
Motherhood carries with it the highest of highs and sometimes the lowest (or toughest) of moments. I’m constantly feeling that push and pull to make sure I’m spending time being present with my kids, and that they truly know how much they are loved. I fail a LOT. I also say I’m sorry, give hugs, and strive to celebrate the little moments that bring us all joy.
Aria is wearing this 100% certified organic cotton chambray dress, which is part of Carter’s Little Planet organic line that launched just this month. I get excited when I find comfy clothes with zero fuss, and that’s just what this is! I feel good about keeping Aria in it all day, even when we’re playing in the kitchen together, because I know she’s comfortable and yet it’s still full of style!
Seriously loving the trifecta over here!!
Carter’s stayed true to the comfy, colorfully stylish and affordable clothing that their known for by leveraging the power of being America’s number one baby brand. Right now, the line is available online only (but ships to stores for FREE) in limited quantities, so hurry over to the website and grab your favorites before they’re gone! If you already love mixable basics, and are a fan of Carter’s brand but want to get your hands on ORGANIC products, you’ll find variety of organic baby basics and outfit sets (that you can see Aria wearing here) in sizes newborn-24months and jammies (we loaded up on those as well!) in sizes newborn-5T. This line is SO soft, so easy to mix and match, and 100% organic: cotton, knitting and dyes!
Definitely a mom score!

Ready to make your own Valentine’s Day chocolate dipped pretzels?
- It’s easy! Just heat a bag of white chocolate (I used white chocolate chips), in a microwaveable dish on low in 30 second increments, stirring each time. I only needed to do this twice!
- Then, add in food coloring to make your desired color and stir.
- Dip pretzels or pretzel rods and tap on the side of the bowl to remove excess.
- If desired, dip in sprinkles or even crushed cereal for extra color and flavor!
- Place on parchment or a cooling rack until the chocolate sets and enjoy!
These Valentine’s Day chocolate dipped pretzels pair perfectly with our FREE printable Valentine’s Day cards!
