Easter Outfit Ideas:
Since I typically am out of town for work over the Easter holiday, we all dressed up together as a family for Palm Sunday! It was basically like our family Easter together, and I wanted a mix and match ensamble… an excuse for us to dress up a little in our Easter outfits. 🙂
While it’s also typical to go out and buy new Easter outfits, dresses and the whole shebang, I wanted to put together pieces that can be worn time and again. Getting more than one use out of everything was my goal, so first, I shopped our closets. My boys are already pretty adventurous, so keeping them in skinny jeans was perfect, and we made use of shoes we all already have. White shirts for all the guys was a great base and with a quick trip to Target I picked up ties for all my guys, a sweet dress for Aria and a peach headband for her to pull in the color scheme.
For everything else, I pulled from our closets to pull a mix and match wardrobe for us all. The key to a good family outfit is choosing complimentary colors while staying away from being too matchy-matchy. Normally I wouldn’t choose white button ups for all the boys, but this time it worked because the rest of their pieces were different enough. Really though, keeping it simple and pulling pieces from our closets in the color scheme was so easy to do and saved a load of stress, time and money!
What are you planning for this Easter Sunday?!
