Can you believe we’re less than 15 days away from Christmas?! Is your shopping done? Nope, mine isn’t either, but I’m working on it. And while I’m at it, I’m sharing a few things I’ve looked at lately with you all. For our kids we usually stick to the “something you want, something you need, something you wear (which usually happens to be our annual tradition of matching pajamas) and something you read.” So without further ado, a great mix of top gifts for the littles in your life.
// Play Fruit Basket Set – How adorable are these little play foods? And they’re at a price that can’t be beat.
// Shrinky Dinks Charms and Trinkets – This is one I would love to play with myself! Raise your hand if you remember these!
// Boys’ Checkered Sleep Set and Girls’ Sparkle One Piece PJs – Our tradition is opening one gift on Christmas Eve, and it’s a new set of PJs to wear that night… and pretty much all of Christmas day. So fun!
// Wooden Doctor’s Kit – My kids just LOVE to play doctor. I’m constantly finding bandaids on their stuffed animals and scarves used as bandages. Help along their creativity with a wooden set that lasts, and lasts, and lasts.
// Freshly Picked Moccasins – We’ve long been a fan of these moccs, they were our favorite choice for Skylar from the beginning… and his too! He goes right for the moccasins in his shoe bin and asks me to put them on his feet, it’s so sweet. Definitely a great pic for growing little feet… easy to wear and easy to walk in.
// Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera – They imitate us by grabbing the phone camera and lining up animals, or pancakes, or whatever is in front of them for the perfect photo… or at least mine do. I think a little instax camera is the perfect gift to fulfill the budding photographer and with an instant photo, and instant satisfaction of seeing their work.
// Books – These are always a great gift for under the tree. Some of our favorites right now are Where The Sidewalk Ends, Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Magic Tree House Series (my kids are uhh-bsessed) and the story of this girl and her doll in Kiki & Coco in Paris looks adorable!
// Osmo system for the iPad – The first time I saw this new interactive game and learning system that brings the iPad to life, I knew it would be something I’d want to invest in for our kids! On top of the price being reasonable, I think we’ll see plenty of use and I’m happy that the kids can all play together using the iPad… while also learning kinesthetically.
// Finger Puppets – This adorable group of animals come in a printable file that’s easy to assemble and makes for fun learning… and playing.
// Silver Speedster – My littlest is at the age where he wants to climb up and ride on anything and everything he can! This silver number is something that would be great for littles to play on, but also won’t make you cringe when left out… it would actually look good in a main living space.
// Canvas TeePee – I’ve been wanting to splurge on a teepee for our home for a couple of years now… a place for the kids to retreat with a book, a fort, a sanctuary of sorts. This year is the ticket for us and is pretty much our one big gifts for the kids. I found a local artist that designs these simply gorgeous teepees, that also hang in a closet or corner with one quick motion, for easy storage.
What’s on your lists for the littles in your life this year?
