It’s the most wonderful time of the year indeed. I absolutely adore creating anything that will make people smile and bring a little bit more joy into their lives… especially when it comes to my home and family. But it’s also why I share HERE what brings us joy in our home, to spread some of it to you as well!
One of the reasons we love this time of the year? All of the twinkle lights! And this simple jar snow globe DIY is something we’ve loved adding to our decor year after year now. In fact, that large zip-top bag of Epsom salt you see in the photos? We just pour it right back in the bag to store for the next year.

Christmas Jar Snow Globe DIY Supplies
A large glass jar, Epson salt, battery-operated twinkle lights, and a few trinkets are all it takes! You can even add in a bit of glitter to make it extra festive. Fill your globe about 1/3 of the way with salt to look like hills of freshly fallen snow. Add decorations such as trees, houses, bells, reindeer, ornaments, or any other Christmas trinkets you have around your house.
