Last Week in Palm Springs

A sweet friend of mine has a word for us women whose lives encompass so many things… multi-passionate. That word rings so true for me, because there have been times I’ve tried to narrow it down and there are just too many things that I really am passionate about! One of them is travel, oh how I love where I live with the sweetly salted air, and yet, I crave the diverse landscapes that stretch out vast and changing under a single sky. You know what else I’m passionate about? Friends of mine that have become more like family over the years. 

Some of you know that I’ve worked as a spokesmodel and travel to different Auto Shows throughout the years (going on 14 years now to be exact, is that crazy or what?!), and the relationships I’ve made along the way have made it so much more than worth it. Since we have a small training every year, and this time we fully enjoyed Palm Springs, I thought I’d make it fun this year and take a little behind the scenes footage of one of our days on the road… on the road through the mountains. The scenery reminded me of how big this world is, how small we are and why my heart leaps at seeing so much of our beautiful land.

We stayed at the La Quinta Waldorf Astoria Resort which is like it’s own charming little town in the middle of towering mountains and palm trees. The main pool was beautiful (and cooled!) and the food there was absolutely delicious. But I think what was even more delicious was seeing this extended family of mine after a summer apart. It’s like our own version of back to school, and we couldn’t wait!
