“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
~George Eliot
Tonight brought a rousing session of Good Night, Mommy. Good Night, Daddy. Good Night, Babies. Good Night, Moon.
But as the darkness dissipates and the sun’s rays peak out over the horizon, I invariably get excited for what that brings. It doesn’t matter if I miss it on the first, second, third or one-hundred-and-third shot, the morning sun delivers 24 hours worth of Re-Do at my front door.
With each day there’s always promise to become the mother I admire, the friend I always want to have, the daughter I’m cultivating and the wife I hope to emerge as. For me, for you? It’s never too late.
What is it that you might have been? There’s still time.

Commenter #2, Prasti: she’s getting so big! and i want to eat those cookies… sorry, my pregnant brain is not functioning correctly this AM for a creative title so i have nothing to offer :).
And now my writing will be turning into rambling and my eyes are closing… in fact one just did. Good Night, Blog and Good Night, Moon.

That’s a great picture and your quote is right on the mark. It’s nice to think about each day being a fresh new start. “Good Night, Moon” has always been one of my favorite kids’ books — used to read it with the Granddaughter all the time. *sigh*

It’s a lovely quote and truer words were never spoken. We should begin each day trying to be a better person…
