Keep your juice boxes and difficult cocktail recipes put away for the season. This Tangerine Apple Cider Cocktail is the perfect elevated at-home mixology drink for any occasion. It’s simple to throw together, doesn’t require a long shopping list and the flavor combo is all I need to get me through the holidays! Make it a mocktail for family-friendly parties or to brighten and liven a family dinner!
This easy cocktail looks like a million bucks but it really only takes a second to mix up. And while it’s the perfect drink for all kinds of occasions – Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas parties, Girls Night In – it’s also simple enough to make a family dinner around the table something to celebrate. I know my kids are going to flip over this tonight! And I called in the help of a couple of friends to taste test with me, the perfect excuse for a mid-week meetup!
Ingredients for Tangerine Apple Cider Cocktail:
- Tropicana Tangerine Lemonade
- Sparkling Apple Cider (or Hard Apple Cider for the spiked version)
- Cinnamon sticks, apple slices and pomegranate seeds for garnish
I don’t know about you but I like to keep a couple selections of cheese in my fridge for those last minute get togethers, to use as hors d’oeuvres
on the table or even just to have a few slices for lunch (yes, I am totally okay with eating cheese for lunch on occasion). Pair an uncomplicated cheese plate, complete with 1-2 cheeses, crackers and apple slices, with a delicious drink and you’re ready for any kind of get-together, impromptu or not.
Make your Tangerine Apple Cider Cocktail:
- Scoop a spoonful of pomegranate seeds into a glass
- Mix 1 part apple cider with 1 part Tropicana Tangerine Lemonade
- Add in a few slices of apple and a cinnamon stick
- Drink and enjoy!
My kids are already fans of Tropicana’s Tangerine Lemonade, and props that it has no artificial sweeteners or flavors… but I have to say, it’s even better when used to make a tasty mixed drink!
