Some of my favorite moments in the kitchen are the ones where the result looks like you spent way more time than you actually did. These two spring treats are exactly that, totally simple, absolutely adorable, and the kind of thing that makes everyone go “wait, you MADE these?”

Whether you’re putting together an Easter dessert spread, bringing something festive to a spring get-together, or just looking for a fun afternoon activity with the kids, these two recipes are your new best friends. And the best part? They use the same bag of pastel M&Ms. Efficient AND cute. We love that.

🌸 Adorable Spring Flower Cookies

The Secret? Just Two Ingredients.
That’s right. Two. We’re keeping it easy over here, friends.
All you need is a bag of Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (the “eat or bake” kind, yes, it’s safe to eat raw, which is basically a gift) and a bag of pastel M&Ms. That’s it. No mixing bowls full of flour, no complicated decorating steps. Just pure springtime fun.

What You’ll Need
- 1 bag Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (24 count)
- 1 bag pastel M&Ms
How to Make Them
Step 1: Place the dough on a lined baking sheet.
Pop those pre-portioned dough squares onto a parchment-lined pan, giving them a little room to spread. Bake according to package directions.
Step 2: Decorate while they’re still warm.
Here’s the key! As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press your pastel M&Ms right into the top. The warmth of the cookie holds them perfectly in place as it cools.

Step 3: Choose your design!
This is where the fun comes in, and the kids are going to LOVE this part. You can make:
- 🐰 Bunny faces — Cut M&Ms in half to create two oval ears and then place one whole for the face
- 🌸 Spring flowers — Put one color M&M in the center surrounded by a ring of another color for petals
The pastel colors look so gorgeous together, lavender, mint, pink, and yellow. Every single cookie ends up looking like a little piece of spring.

Step 4: Let them cool and set, then display!
Arrange them on a pretty serving board or plate with some decorative Easter eggs for the most festive spread. They’re genuinely almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

🌼 Sweet & Salty Pretzel Daisies

If the cookies are the star, these pretzel daisies are the supporting cast that steals every scene. They’re salty, sweet, crunchy, and completely irresistible, and with just three ingredients, they come together in just minutes.
What You’ll Need

How to Make Them
Step 1: Melt your white chocolate.
Melt the white chocolate wafers according to package directions until smooth. You don’t need much, just enough to act as your “glue.”

Step 2: Add a dollop to each pretzel.
Spoon or pipe a small amount of melted white chocolate onto the center of each square pretzel.
Step 3: Press in your M&M daisy.
While the chocolate is still wet, arrange your pastel M&Ms into a flower shape, 5 or 6 M&Ms as petals around a contrasting color in the center. The yellow center with pastel petals is chef’s kiss.

Step 4: Let them set.
Give them a few minutes to firm up, then arrange on your board. They’re so lightweight and stackable, which makes them perfect for gifting or adding to Easter baskets too!

Make It a Spring Spread
No special baking skills required. No icing bags, no food coloring, no stress. Just pull out the cookie dough, melt a little white chocolate, grab some M&Ms from the Easter candy aisle, and you’ve got two festive activities and two delicious treats all in one afternoon. Kids can help press in the candies, build their pretzel daisies, and choose all their designs, it’s honestly one of those low-lift, high-reward moments that spring is made for.
Make a big batch of both for your Easter dessert table, tuck them into Easter baskets, or bring them to a spring get-together. They travel well, they look incredible together, and everyone is going to ask you how you made them. (Your secret is safe with me. 😉)
Happy Easter, friends! 🌸🐣
