Last week, and right before our big move, I worked with Chevy for pink month (breast cancer awareness month!) and because it was an almost week-long event with and for women, you know there were all kinds of vendors and amazing beauty products that I walked by and stared at all week. So after three days of testing scents and balms and potions, this is the loot I came home with. A bag full of smell-delicious goodies? Always a good decision.
1// Philosophy skincare loot: total matteness cleanser, total matteness pore eraser, take a deep breath moisturizer, clear days ahead + a whole bunch of samples and a cute little travel bag to carry it all in! So far I’m loving the products as it’s been keeping the shine at bay extremely well and the feel of the clay cleanser is strange but also awesome… I’ll try and keep you updated on how I’m using and liking it.
2// Philosophy shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath in butter rum cake and sweet fluffy cupcake. The sweetly indulgent scents always get me… whether it’s body washes, creams or candles. I think the butter rum cake is my new favorite, it’s seriously delicious and makes me want to lick up every drop. Just to be clear, I don’t.
3// Speaking of smelling delicious… I have one word, Prada. During the event, the girls and I would choose scents to spray on in the morning and see how they’d wear during the day. And this one? Had me at hello… as well as every other girl I worked with. In all honestly, I haven’t had or really worn a legit perfume since Aliyah was born, between holding babies or carrying babies, I just wasn’t into any heavy scents. I figured now was a good time to invest in a signature scent and this one isn’t too heavy for me. After thinking I was going to get Prada Candy, and wearing it on one arm for a day compared to the Prada ‘Candy L’Eau’ Eau de Toilette, I fell in love with the latter.
4// I had to bring something home for my man, right! He’s always loved the charcoal soap from Lush, and this one looked so similar I decided to check it out. The Gender Bender bar from Perfectly Posh is basically the same as the one we’ve used from Lush, but it’s made right here in the U.S. of A. Score for red, white and blue!

Sweet fluffy cupcake products sound (and prob smell) amazing ! My face and hands are super dry from the cold Boston weather so i am loving fresh brand face cream and then bath and body works candy apple lotion!
