You’ve got to try this delicious take on the classic s’more… the ultimate s’mores dip!! Makes up for all those times you’d like a s’more and aren’t close to a campfire. And to be honest, I like it better!
I’m so proud of my girl. At nine years old, she’s wanting to branch out into her own… asking to create her own content and videos, gathering the recipes and ingredients and even telling me she’s got it covered when I ask if she knows what she wants to say. Training her up 😉
With that said, we are hard-wired s’mores fans and even came up with a slew of amaaaaazing recipes for #SmoresWeek (our own made up week in celebration of National S’mores Day, and yes there is such a thing). While we were away in the smokies recently, we were craving a good ole’ fashioned s’more, although we didn’t really have campfire capability and wanted something simple to have indoors, since the cabin was basically awesome and we wanted to cuddle up inside. Enter this uber simple, easy to make and ultimately delicious s’mores dip!
Clearly we had to make it again, and Aliyah really wanted to create a video to show you just how to do it! Scroll down to watch it below…
Doesn’t it look SO good?! It really, really is. Just three ingredients and a few minutes before you’ve got a delicious dessert on the table! You could even mix it up and change out the chocolate for different flavors, or add in a layer of peanut butter between the chocolate and the marshmallows (YES please!).
Ingredients for the Ultimate S’mores Dip:
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 small bag of marshmallows
Graham crackers
Like Aliyah said in the video, preheat your oven to 350 and use any kind of baking pan that has sides, we’ve used a small glass baking dish before and this time we used a pie dish. Go ahead and use a non-stick spray to give your baking dish a light coating and then it’s time to get to it! Just pour a layer of chocolate chips followed by your layer of marshmallows. Place in your preheated oven for 5-10 minutes. The time depends on how hot your oven cooks, some run hotter than others 😉 Keep an eye on it, because you want the marshmallows to be a nice golden brown, and the chocolate melted and gooey, without the marshmallows burning. While it’s baking, break up the graham crackers into dip-able pieces so you’d be ready to dig in when the dip is ready. I promise you, it’ll be hard to resist!

What is your favorite s’mores recipe?! Have you ever tried a s’mores dip before? I definitely want to try some variations now (like with peanut butter cooked in as a layer and with vanilla ice cream on top!).

Sorry I missed this… I saw on Snapchat you already made it 😉 Anyway, the first time we made it, we used an 8X8 square baking dish. For this one, it was a pie dish! So really, anything relatively that size is perfect 🙂
