Yesterday we blackened our feet on the driveway, sat in lawnchairs and let wobbly little legs explore the cracks in our cement and the slowly brown-turning-green grass while a wily little girl scooted her way to the neighbors house, knocked on her door and brought her outside, just to say hi. The sky was a vivid blue sprinkled generously with white cotton candy clouds and the temperature shift change from indoor to outdoor was barely noticeable, a little warmer outside even.
I’m excited for more days of soaring double digits, beach visits and lots… I mean lots of sunshine.
Linking up with I Heart Faces shadow challenge this week. This photo is from our Father’s Day visit to the beach last summer.
