This past weekend the skies have been opening to downpours of relentless rain. With flood warnings abounding, the doors of West Elm stood as our oasis from the dampening gray of the outdoors. Women poured into the welcoming bright lights, and plushly decorated surroundings shaking off remaining bits of water droplets over the wooden floors as they settled in for a night of summer entertaining fun at our most recent #FreshEvent with in Tampa.
It was the perfect respite from the storm, and I have to say, this #FreshEvent fully delivered! The sweet treats from Piquant were out of this world. We sipped coffee from Pony Brand Coffee and tea infused with our own peach simple syrup and mint (recipe coming soon), we noshed on white bean dip that author Krayl Funch of An Appealing Plan demonstrated how to make and it seriously had everyone drooling for more (yes, it was that good, and again recipe coming soon). The star of the night was fresh herbs abounding, from the recipes to the tabletop decor pouring over the backdrop of mixed bowls, napkins and fun decor we had the pleasure of playing with for the evening from West Elm!
Besides the delicious indulgences, everyone walked away with their own handcrafted rosemary napkin rings (I think we’ll be seeing lots of those around Christmas tables this year, just saying!) and of course a bag full of amazing swag… and you know I saved one to giveaway here too! We filled each Hyde Park Village tote bag with their own cosmetic mirror, a 4 oz bag of freshly roasted Pony Brand Coffee beans, a summery wall art print from Minted (loved the different prints!), a hand-poured soy candle from 7th Avenue Apothecary, a 5ml bottle of Lemon essential oil (which is a delicious addition to the white bean dip and to the iced tea!) and jewelry from Gemara’s Gems (available locally at Tate and Tilly).
