Being three is so much different than it used to be.
What do you remember about being three?
Amy says
Life was so simple when I was three! Technology has come a looonggg way! My kids ask me when I got my first cell phone…”Um, when I was like 30??”
blueviolet says
Shoot, I probably wasn’t even allowed to turn on the tv at age 3!
Stacey says
Love it! I need to get one of those for my 3yo.
I remember riding on my bigwheel and playing with little tree lizards (we lived in CA). We also spent a lot of time at the beach. The weather is always ideal in Cali, so we didn’t really play inside much.
Pam says
Yes it is.
Erin says
She looks sooo old here!
Jillien says
No TV allowed. But a lot of music, singing and dancing in our house. It was a great time!

Running, playing and just being free. We didn’t have a computer or anything like that… it was all playing outside. I grew up (and still live) in southern california… everything is done outside because of the weather!

i have to laugh. my three year old can’t get enough of his daddy’s iPhone. it’s my reason i don’t want to get an iPhone.
MY CHILDHOOD memories do not go that far. i don’t think we even own a TV that time.

Isn’t that the truth!

honestly, i don’t remember anything from when i was 3. i don’t know if i should be sad or glad ;).
our daughter (who is also 3) took it upon herself to take the laptop from the coffee table, move it to the kitchen table, seated herself on the chair and start up a video the other day while i was putting her brother down for a nap. craziness!
Whimsical Creations says
So true!
bjbblog says
We sure have, I love new technology as long as we all don’t depend on it to totally run our lives. Once in a while the kids need to get outside and eat some dirt, LOL. It’s sad when kids would rather play video games instead of going outside……..
Jen says
I was just saying how lucky kids are now, we didn’t have ANY of this fun stuff to play with!!
Hope you and the baby are doing well
Jen 🙂

I remember 80’s music blasting, ugly gold carpet, the smell of outside. I remember having the windows open a lot, and I remember my dad lifting weights with his buddy. Running was easier. Life lasted longer. Simple and sweet.
Jenny in Utah says
So, so true … and to think, our parents must have thought the exact same thing!!!
Aleta says
OMG, I love this! Wow, how things have changed 🙂 I remember climbing trees and have water balloon fights and playing cowboys and indians and … just lots of fun and a bunch of outside time.
Gerri says
It was the first time I remember eating finger sandwiches without the crust on. I was hooked!

Yes, my four-year-old is currently claiming my iPod touch as his own, begging for a new app to be added each day. Good thing is he doesn’t spend hours on it, at least not yet.
