It’s also been our most pinned post, and I can see why! Besides making a home smell amazing, there are so many therapeutic benefits to running a diffuser filled with a favorite mixture of essential oils in your space.
On my quest to use scented candles less, a diffuser not only helps me in this effort, but I can also choose oils based on my ever-changing mood or the always adjusting needs of my family (i.e. sleepy kids, high-stress situations, colds, etc).

Beat the Winter Blues
Adding these oils together creates a mood-boosting blend that to beat those winter blues. 10 drops Orange + 5 drops Cedarwood + 1 drop Ylang Ylang
Take a Winter’s Nap
One of my favorite ways to fall asleep is with Cedarwood, it slows me right down. I rub it on my big toes at night and diffuse as well. 4 drops Cedarwood + 3 drops Lavender + 3 drops Orange + 1 drop Shield (Similar to Thieves or Defense)
Warm Woods Walk
Calming and grounding. 4 drops Myrrh + 3 drops Frankincense + 3 drops Cedarwood
Just Breathe
Use this blend for great protection, to boost respiratory function and to help clear congestion–especially during cold and flu season. 2 drops Lemon + 1 drop Lime + 2 drops Peppermint + 1 drop Rosemary + 2 drops Eucalyptus + 1 drop Clove
Clean and Fresh
A slightly invigorating scent while at the same time will calm the nerves. It will also leave your space smelling like you’ve been cleaning. 4 drops Lavender + 3 drops Orange + 3 drops Cedarwood + 1 drop Shield
Citrus Refresher
Use this blend to clean and purify the air and leave your place smelling citrus-y fresh. 2 drops Lemon + 2 drops Orange + 2 drops Grapefruit
Gingerbread
A slightly invigorating scent while at the same time will calm the nerves. It will also leave your space smelling like you’ve been cleaning. 4 drops Ginger + 3 drops Clove + 1 drop Cinnamon
Winter Boost
Boost your mood, energy, and immunity with this diffuser blend. 3 drops Shield + 3 drops Peppermint
Wise Gifts
Let the gifts of Christmas linger long past the festivities with this cleansing, grounding, and boosting blend. 4 drops Orange + 5 drops Frankincense + 4 drops Myrrh
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
