We all know that winter can be so utterly drying and damaging to hair, skin and nails. We’ve got you covered in the hair department with our Winter Hair Care Routine for Better Hair in Less Time, see all of our time-saving, hair-loving tips in our newest YouTube video!
Sometimes I wish I was pregnant again just for the hair. I mean… all the heart eyes. It’s full, long, lustrous. If only that were the norm right? I love how the winter months bring a season of less humidity, which is its own hair saving grace, but on the flip side it can also lead to dry, brittle locks.
With the last couple of weeks in and out of airplanes and hotels (hello, major dry air!) and changing temps and climates, my hair and skin have been working overtime to keep up without going on the fritz. Thankfully my winter hair routine can help keep the dry, split ends at bay while I get just a little closer to those full, lustrous locks that a baby in utero brings along… without another baby. ?
Seriously though, I put together a quick video, with a very special little baby cameo, sharing my winter hair care routine including one really amazing thing that literally takes seconds to keep your hair healthy and shiny and a less-than-five-minute hair style for the holiday season!
I’ve found that my hair can take, and even craves, a heartier, more moisturizing shampoo and conditioner in the colder weather. When the air gets dry, I first do a happy dance because frizz begins to die down… until all that cold air dries out my locks and leaves them lifeless and dull. I will always recommend a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Miracle Repairing Shampoo and Protecting Conditioner leaves my hair silky soft, manageable, and stronger to fight against damage. Since I only try to wash one to two times per week, using something that gently cleanses and hydrates is key! Plus, this line helps repair 6 months of visible signs of damage in just one use of the repair shampoo and conditioner system. I definitely noticed that difference from the first wash, and I have to say, having manageable hair helps when you need to style it in just minutes. If you don’t need something quite as intense as I do (I’m loving the repair and Protect line, by the way!) Pantene Pro-V has a line for all different types of hair… so whether you need something to make hair sleek or add volume, there’s absolutely something you can use to keep hair silky and manageable, and it could be a great stocking stuffer as well! You can find the Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Collection and many more Pantene Pro-V products on Amazon! Having your hair products shipped to your home is a huge time-saver… and means, “Hello easy shopping, I’ll just add you to my cart.”
So tell me, what type of hair do you have or do you have a winter hair care routine? And do you have any tips for keeping hair strong and long this winter season?!

Love these photos and your leggings! My hair doesn’t get super dry in the winter because I live in a super humid place. But whenever I travel during the winter everything feels like it’s going to break so this is perfect! thank you!

I live in Utah and it’s dry here pretty much year round so this is would be a great routine for me. I’m always trying to infuse more moisture into my hair.

Love these tips! I typically only wash my hair about once a week…especially in the winter because it’s so dry outside…the weather turns my hair into a brittle mess!
