It’s been awhile since I’ve done an Unboxing post, and this is one that I’m really excited to share! In this series I talk about subscription services and those uber popular box services that we’ve tried out and what it is we like about each one. First off, I think subscription boxes are such a fun idea… from every kind of beauty box, baby box, toy box, and more, that we’ve tried, it’s like getting a present every time one arrives at the door. Subscription boxes let you try out things that you may not have found on your own and is a fun way to experiment with new items or ideas.
Today’s box, My Seasonal Home subscription box, was created by a friend of mine and I’m SO proud of her and what she’s doing. I’ve worked with Krayl, an accomplished home and event stylist and author, in the past when we hosted our DIY events at West Elm together, and I’m happy to call her friend. When she told me about the subscription box service she was creating all about getting beautiful, seasonal decor into a busy household, I knew I wanted to check it out!
In each box, that arrives quarterly as it’s created for effortless and in-season touches for the home, you’ll find items like fresh, textured linens and pillow covers, candles, small table top decor and other accents to freshen up your space. I’m currently letting the scent of my new Celerie Lotus Blossom candle waft through the air as I type and my new pillow covers are already letting Spring adorn my couch.
While the price point is higher than that of a basic and simple beauty box, the quality of the products, attention to home decor details and the overall value of the box itself, is much, much higher. I think it’s such a brilliant idea for any busy woman on the go, where you can keep your home looking it’s best every season without having to do all the shopping… just let an expert take care of that part, open your “present” with each new season and let your home benefit from it. Another plus, besides the candles, these items aren’t consumable, so along with updating your seasonal decor with a few well thought out touches, you’re also investing in items you’ll be able to continuously rotate through and build your seasonal collections!
I’m excited for my girl Krayl and what she’s doing with this service, and I’m sure the summer boxes are being planned out and packed up! I’d love to hear what you think about it, and what about you? Are there subscription services that you can’t wait to tell your friends about? Please share! I’d love to hear about it!
