Cotton or Wool for Essential Oils
Using cotton balls or pieces of felted wool is one of the easiest ways to enjoy your fall essential oil blends in the car. Placing several drops on a small piece of wool can keep your vehicle smelling great for up to two weeks.
Room Spray for Essential Oils
Creating a room spray is easy. Use 18 drops of one of your favorite fall essential oil blends to every 2oz. of water in a spray container. It’s preferable to use filtered or distilled water, and be sure to shake the bottle well before each use. This is great to use in a restroom, on sheets, or when you want a quick mood brightener.
Best Diffusers for Essential Oils
Cold air diffusers are my preferred way of enjoying essential oils. It spreads the scent in a wide area within minutes and for a long period of time. Diffusers don’t heat the oil, so the essential oils remain intact and you may receive the therapeutic benefit.

Pumpkin Spice Room Spray
If you’re like me, and just about everyone else, then you love the smell of pumpkin spice. I created this in a room spray to satisfy my cravings whenever they wash over me. Using a diffuser is a great choice too, especially before company comes over! Just omit the water from the below recipe to create a diffuser blend. Chances are you will want to make it in this larger quantity to use again, and again.
- 8 ounces of water (preferably filtered or distilled)
- 20 drops Cinnamon essential oil
- 15 drops Nutmeg essential oil
- 15 drops Ginger essential oil
- 15 drops Clove essential oil
- 10 drops Orange essential oil
- 5 drops Cardamom essential oil
Pumpkin Spice Coffee Blend
If you enjoy the recipe above then I think you’ll love this twist on the concept. It has similar notes, but the alteration gives you all the feels of a pumpkin spice latte at a high-end coffee house. Blend it in a dram with an orifice reducer to drop in a diffuser as you wish.
- 2 drops Allspice essential oil
- 2 drops Nutmeg essential oil

Fall Foliage Essential Oil Blend

Warm Mug Essential Oil Blend
Bliss is a proprietary blend by my favorite essential oil company. The blend of Lavender, Sweet Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, and Vanilla make using an oil blend so easy. This blend alone is great for stress and anxiety, but combine it with Coffee oil for a relaxing midday pick me up.
Fall Fresh Scent
Lavender is an antiseptic, antibacterial, and antidepressant and is frequently used in cleaning blends. Lemon has similar properties, so their combined power is a one-two clean scent punch.
