Ahhh, summer. The thought of it brings the nostalgic emotions of sunshine, warm nights under the stars, outdoor play and the bright, refreshing scents of citrus and other uplifting, cleansing fragrances.
While I’m using candles less in general, summer doesn’t have me craving the warm light and aromas of a scented candle. But what do I love in the summer? A bright, clean and refreshed home to relax in! An oasis to return to after days at the beach or a place to put our feet up after yard and splashing in the pool.
With that said, I pretty much diffuse all day long while at home with our cold-air diffusers since it allows us to enjoy all the benefits of these essential oil summer diffuser recipes–not just the scent. Unlike warmers, a cold-air diffuser doesn’t heat the oil, so all of the therapeutic benefits of essential oils remain intact as the properties of the oil aren’t broken down. We’ve been having so much fun experimenting with recipes for our diffusers, and I’m sharing some of our FAVORITE super refreshing essential oil summer diffuser recipes today!
Of course, you can experiment and play with these too, or even diffuse a single oil, as I love just using some oils on their own! Mixing these different summer diffuser recipes to create great scents or release the benefits for the home is such a healthy, deliciously scented way to enjoy the summer season.
