I like you a waffle lot!! 🧇 Cheesy pun, but totally adorable Valentine Breakfast Board with a little bit of that Valentine sparkle! ✨❤️✨
What to have on your Valentine’s Day breakfast board? Well, what about waffles, strawberries, and whipped cream? A Valentine Breakfast Board can make anyone fall in love! I mean they do say that food is the way to a man’s heart… and I know good food makes mine pitter-patter!
It may seem like it takes a lot of work, but a waffle breakfast board really is an easy way to serve it up. And you could even start the night before and just reheat the waffles in the oven so you’d be able to sit back and enjoy your morning with your loved one. That’s true romance!
If you have kids, this would be the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day (or any morning you want to add a little love) as well! They will love helping you make their own waffle board with their favorite toppings and candy or sugary treats!

What You Need To Create a Sweet Valentine Waffle Board
Adding a little love into our breakfast routine with fruits + eggs + festive heart-shaped Valentine waffles (made with our fave @Krusteaz pancake mix of course — it’s so easy, for pancakes you just add water… a busy mom’s best friend! For waffles, just add a tsp of oil to the mix!). We also divided our waffle batter and added cocoa to make chocolate waffles.
What we used for our Valentine Waffle Board:
- Fresh Baked Belgian Waffles
- Strawberries (cut into hearts)
- Heart-Shaped Chocolate Waffles
- Whipped Cream
- Fresh Maple Syrup
- Sliced Bananas
- Hard Boiled Eggs (for that extra protein)
- Nuts
- XO Cookies
- Candy Heart Sprinkles
Serving it all on a board is so fun because everyone can make their own plate loaded up with their own faves. The kids ate it ALLLL up!
Stack your waffles with whip cream, fresh berries, and spread for a super easy Valentine’s Day treat that you can make ahead of time or even make it an hour before you’re ready to enjoy it! This is such a fun breakfast or dessert idea for families or sweet dates!
Create Your Own Pretty in Pink Waffle Breakfast Board
Cupid’s arrow isn’t just for Valentine’s Day—it also hits you every time you indulge in some pretty, heart-shaped waffles and pink treats. To get your Valentine on, whip up these heart-shaped Belgian waffles (or use your favorite heart-shaped cutter) and serve them with a healthy twist on traditional hot chocolate: steamed milk topped with cocoa powder and honey or agave nectar. Add Valentine’s note on top of each cup and sip with someone special.
We divided our waffle batter into two separate bowls and added cocoa powder to one of the bowls to create chocolate waffles. Then we used and for the cutest waffles!
I also LOVE my to get hard-boiled eggs quick and easy!
Why Make a Valentine Breakfast Board
The holidays are over, but if you’re not ready to give up on Valentine’s Day quite yet, creating a breakfast board that features both your love of cooking and your love of someone special is a great way to keep that spirit alive. A breakfast board allows you to get creative by adding fun decor or presentation elements like cute heart sprinkles or fresh flowers.
